The terms

Terms and rules.

Commitment

Month to month

Membership runs month to month. The twelve month plans on this page are an option, not a requirement, and the front desk will tell you what each one costs before you sign anything.

On the mats

Etiquette and house rules

No shoes on the mat, a clean gi, trimmed nails, and a word to the coach if you have to leave early.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. Start freeYour first three classes are free, and you are under no obligation to come back.
  2. Pick your planPick a plan from the list above: month to month, twelve months billed monthly, or twelve months paid in full.
  3. Train freelyThe membership is a flat monthly fee. Come to as many classes as you like in the programs your plan covers, and the price does not change.

Frequently asked questions.

Is the trial really free?

Do I have to lock in for a year?
No. Every plan is available month to month. The twelve month plans cost less per month, and they are an option rather than a requirement.
Do you offer family pricing?
Yes. We offer discounts for groups, families, veterans, service members, first responders and more. Call (805) 895‑4454 or ask at the front desk to see what applies to you.
Do you offer a veterans or EMS discount?

What's included in a membership?
Unlimited classes at your level: Fundamentals, all‑levels, competition and open mat, in both Gi and No‑Gi, plus wrestling. Striking is its own adult program at the same rate, or on one plan with Jiu Jitsu.
How do I sign up?
Start with a free trial. The front desk sets up your plan when you are ready to join.
Is there a sign-up fee?
Yes. A one-time $150 registration fee opens your membership, per individual or group, and it includes a High Street rash guard.
Will I get hurt?
We teach control and injury prevention from day one. Expect to be tired and sore. Injuries are rare, and you decide when live sparring starts.
